A Traditional Romanian Christmas Celebration

December 6th in Romania is St. Nicholas Day, which is traditionally the start of the Christmas season. One of many ways that Romanians welcome in the season is by singing carols [colinde].

Please join Lia Lungu, a Romanian folk singer, born and educated in Timisoara . Lia has more than anyone else successfully introduced traditional Romanian music to American audiences.

Traditional Romanian pastries and refreshment will be available

*Food is limited. First come, first-served basis. Participants are welcomed to sample the food. Queens Library is not responsible for any allergic reactions or illnesses as a result of their participation.
